C13A0 Open circuit in Power source circuit Both of following conditions are met:
  1. Ignition switch ON or electric parking brake switch (integration control and panel assembly) pulled to lock side with ignition switch off.
  2. Parking brake ECU assembly's power source relay is open for approximately 0.5 seconds.
  • Parking brake actuator assembly
  • Parking brake ECU assembly
Yes An electric parking brake system malfunction is displayed on the multi-information display.
C13A5 Electric Current of Motor One of the following conditions are met:
Detection conditions (1) 
  1. Ignition switch ON or electric parking brake switch (integration control and panel assembly) pulled to lock side with ignition switch off.
  2. Parking brake ECU assembly's internal current is abnormal for approximately 0.1 to 0.5 seconds (differs according to malfunction contents).

Detection conditions (2) 
  1. When current zero point calibration is not completed within 3 seconds after turning the ignition switch to ON
  • Parking brake actuator assembly
  • Parking brake ECU assembly
Yes An electric parking brake system malfunction is displayed on the multi-information display.
C13B0 Electric Parking Brake ECU Malfunction Both of following conditions are met:
  1. Ignition switch ON or electric parking brake switch (integration control and panel assembly) pulled to lock side with ignition switch off.
  2. Internal current of parking brake ECU assembly or ECU components abnormal for a maximum of 60 seconds (differs according to malfunction contents).
  • Parking brake actuator assembly
  • Parking brake ECU assembly
Yes An electric parking brake system malfunction is displayed on the multi-information display.
