Disassembly [06/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  2. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT CORD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  3. REMOVE REAR SPOILER NO. 1 PROTECTOR 

    HINT: 

    When removing the rear spoiler No. 1 protector, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the rear spoiler and rear spoiler No. 1 protector using a heat light.

    Rear Spoiler 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    Rear Spoiler No. 1 Protector
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.

      *b Heat Light
    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.
    NOTE:

    Do not heat the rear spoiler and rear spoiler No. 1 protector excessively.

    1. Remove the 7 rear spoiler No. 1 protectors.

  4. REMOVE REAR SPOILER NO. 2 PROTECTOR 

    HINT: 

    When removing the rear spoiler No. 2 protector, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the rear spoiler and rear spoiler No. 2 protector using a heat light.

    Rear Spoiler 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    Rear Spoiler No. 2 Protector
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.

    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.
    NOTE:

    Do not heat the rear spoiler and rear spoiler No. 2 protector excessively.

    1. Remove the 4 rear spoiler No. 2 protectors.

  5. REMOVE REAR SPOILER NO. 4 PROTECTOR 

    HINT: 

    • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
    • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
    • When removing the rear spoiler No. 4 protector, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the rear side spoiler LH and rear spoiler No. 4 protector using a heat light.

    1. Remove the rear spoiler No. 4 protector.

  6. REMOVE REAR SIDE SPOILER PROTECTOR 

    HINT: 

    • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
    • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
    • When removing the rear side spoiler protector, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the rear side spoiler LH and rear side spoiler protector using a heat light.
