Mute Signal Circuit between Stereo Component Amplifier and Telematics Transceiver [06/2020 - 10/2022]: Procedure

1. Remove the DCM (telephone transceiver assembly) with the connector(s) still connected.

   *a	Component with harness connected (DCM [Telephone Transceiver Assembly])

   Refer to REMOVAL [06/2020 - 10/2022]

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   G152-14 (MUTE) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON, audio system playing → Emergency call mode	2.0 V or higher → Below 1 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [06/2020 - 10/2022] 

Result: 

NG

1. Disconnect the M3 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the G152 DCM (telephone transceiver assembly) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   M3-24 (TMUT) - G152-14 (MUTE)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   M3-24 (TMUT) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the DCM (telephone transceiver assembly) connector.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
