DTC U11D0-87: Lost Local Communication with MET Missing Message; DTC U11D1-87: Lost Local Communication with HUD Missing Message [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs and proceed to the following step.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes 

      Body Electrical > Head Up Display > Trouble Codes

  3. CHECK METER MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Disconnect the meter mirror sub-assembly connector.

      Procedure1

    2. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Navigation System / Trouble Codes.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs U11D0-87 and U11D1-87 are output A
      DTC U11D1-87 is output B

      Post-procedure1

    3. None

    Result:

    REPLACE METER MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - ]

  4. CHECK FOR CAN BUS WIRE (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY MAIN WIRE) 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. *1: except 12.3 Inch TFT Display Type
    2. *2: for 12.3 Inch TFT Display Type
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the G18*1, G184*2 combination meter assembly connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      EXCEPT 12.3 INCH TFT DISPLAY TYPE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G18-27 (MSCH) - G18-10 (MSCL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω
      G18-27 (MSCH) - G114-4 (CG) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 200 Ω or higher
      G18-10 (MSCL) - G114-4 (CG) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 200 Ω or higher
      G18-27 (MSCH) - G114-16 (BAT) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 6 kΩ or higher
      G18-10 (MSCL) - G114-16 (BAT) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 6 kΩ or higher

      G184-32 (MSCH) - G114-16 (BAT) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 6 kΩ or higher
      G184-15 (MSCL) - G114-16 (BAT) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 6 kΩ or higher

  5. CHECK FOR CAN BUS WIRE (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY MAIN WIRE) 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the G182 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G182-11 (CNH1) - G182-23 (CNL1) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω
      G182-11 (CNH1) - G114-4 (CG) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 200 Ω or higher
      G182-23 (CNL1) - G114-4 (CG) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 200 Ω or higher
      G182-11 (CNH1) - G114-16 (BAT) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 6 kΩ or higher
      G182-23 (CNL1) - G114-16 (BAT) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 6 kΩ or higher

    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the G18*1, G184*2 combination meter assembly connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      EXCEPT 12.3 INCH TFT DISPLAY TYPE

  7. CHECK FOR CAN BUS WIRE (METER MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY BRANCH WIRE)

    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the G136 meter mirror sub-assembly connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G136-14 (TX+) - G136-15 (TX-) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

      Result
