Removal [06/2020 - 12/2021]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER HEAT INSULATOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  2. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and front engine under cover bracket sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE 

    Refer to REMOVAL [06/2020 - 12/2021]

  4. REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY GUARD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 60

  5. INSTALL ENGINE HANGERS 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 61

  6. REMOVE STEERING GEAR HEAT INSULATOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  7. DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  8. REMOVE FRONT ENGINE SUPPORT MEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 3 nuts and separate the front engine mounting insulator from the front engine support member sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the 4 nuts and separate the rear engine mounting insulator from the front engine support member sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR WITH BRACKET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  10. REMOVE RACK AND PINION POWER STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  11. REMOVE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts, nut and front lower No. 1 suspension arm sub-assembly LH from the front engine support member sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Loosen the bolt with the nut secured.

    2. Remove the front lower arm bushing stopper from the front lower No. 1 suspension arm sub-assembly.
  12. REMOVE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 exhaust pipe support bracket from the front engine support member sub-assembly.
