Removal [06/2020 - 12/2021]: Procedure
- REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER HEAT INSULATOR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14
- INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE
Refer to REMOVAL [06/2020 - 12/2021]
- REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY GUARD
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 60
- INSTALL ENGINE HANGERS
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 61
- REMOVE STEERING GEAR HEAT INSULATOR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9
- DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10
- REMOVE FRONT ENGINE SUPPORT MEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR WITH BRACKET
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14
- REMOVE RACK AND PINION POWER STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15
- REMOVE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- Remove the 3 bolts, nut and front lower No. 1 suspension arm sub-assembly LH from the front engine support member sub-assembly.NOTE:
Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Loosen the bolt with the nut secured.
- Remove the front lower arm bushing stopper from the front lower No. 1 suspension arm sub-assembly.
- Remove the 3 bolts, nut and front lower No. 1 suspension arm sub-assembly LH from the front engine support member sub-assembly.
- REMOVE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET
