DTC B00D2-14: Restraint System Malfunction Indicator 1 Circuit Short to Ground or Open [06/2020 - 10/2022]: Procedure
- CHECK PASSENGER AIRBAG ON/OFF INDICATOR CONDITION
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Check the passenger airbag ON/OFF indicator operation.
HINT:
Refer to the normal condition of the passenger airbag ON/OFF indicator.

- CHECK CONNECTION OF CONNECTORS
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check that the connectors are properly connected to the airbag ECU assembly and telltale light assembly (passenger airbag ON/OFF indicator).

- Check that the connectors (on the airbag ECU assembly side and telltale light assembly (passenger airbag ON/OFF indicator) side) are not damaged.

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Check the passenger airbag ON/OFF indicator operation.

- Connect the A6 telltale light assembly (passenger airbag ON/OFF indicator) connector.
- CHECK CONNECTION OF CONNECTORS
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check that the connectors are properly connected to the airbag ECU assembly and telltale light assembly (passenger airbag ON/OFF indicator).

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
