Removal [06/2020 - ]: Procedure

1. Remove the screw and 2 clips.

2. Put protective tape around the quarter outside moulding sub-assembly LH.

3. Place your hand at the location indicated shown in the illustration, pull the quarter outside moulding sub-assembly LH and detach the claw and clip.

   	Place Hand Here
   	Push in this Direction
   	Remove in this Direction

   NOTE:

   To avoid damaging the claw, do not forcibly pull the quarter outside moulding sub-assembly LH.

4. Pull the quarter outside moulding sub-assembly LH outside to disconnect the clip from the base.

   *a	Base
   	Remove in this Direction

5. Using a clip remover with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the clip remaining on the vehicle.

6. Install the clip which removed to quarter outside moulding sub-assembly LH.

7. When reusing the front fender moulding sub-assembly LH:
   1. Remove the 3 clips.

      NOTE:

      Replace the clip with a new one.

HINT: 

When removing the quarter panel wheel opening moulding LH, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the vehicle body and quarter panel wheel opening moulding LH using a heat light.

• Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
• Touching the heat light may result in burns.
• Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

   *a	Double-sided Tape
   	Remove in this Direction

2. Detach the clip and double-sided tape and remove the quarter panel wheel opening moulding LH as shown in the illustration.

HINT: 

When removing the No. 1 moulding tape, if it is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the quarter panel wheel opening moulding LH and No. 1 moulding tape using a heat light.

1. Remove the No. 1 moulding tape.

HINT: 

When removing the No. 2 moulding tape, if it is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the quarter panel wheel opening moulding LH and No. 2 moulding tape using a heat light.
