Disassembly [06/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE BACK DOOR UPPER GARNISH MOULDING PROTECTOR 

    HINT: 

    When removing the back door upper garnish moulding protector, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the back door lower outside garnish and back door upper garnish moulding protector using a heat light.

    Standard

    Back Door Lower Outside Garnish 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    Back Door Upper Garnish Moulding Protector
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

    NOTE:

    Do not heat the back door lower outside garnish and back door upper garnish moulding protector excessively.

    1. Remove the back door upper garnish moulding protector.

  2. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOWER MOULDING PROTECTOR RH 

    HINT: 

    • When removing the back door lower moulding protector RH, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the back door lower outside garnish and back door lower moulding protector RH using a heat light.
    • Use the same procedure for both back door lower moulding protectors RH.

  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOWER GARNISH MOULDING PROTECTOR 

    HINT: 

    • When removing the back door lower garnish moulding protector, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the back door lower outside garnish and back door lower garnish moulding protector using a heat light.
    • Use the same procedure for both back door lower garnish moulding protectors.

    • When removing the back door outside garnish protector, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the back door lower outside garnish and back door outside garnish protector using a heat light.
    • Use the same procedure for both back door outside garnish protectors.
