Removal [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to read precaution thoroughly before servicing.

    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [10/2022 - ]

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL REINFORCEMENT ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONING UNIT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - ]

  3. REMOVE ID CODE BOX (IMMOBILISER CODE ECU) 
    NOTE:

    Do not reuse dropped or damaged parts.

      Remove in this Direction (1)
      Remove in this Direction (2)

      Detach the claw in the direction (1) indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

    2. Detach the guide in the direction (2) indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and remove the ID code box (immobiliser code ECU).
