Removal [06/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE BACK DOOR CENTER GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE BACK DOOR HANDLE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM HEAD CAP 
    1. Detach the claw and open the rear wiper arm head cap as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Detach the claw and remove the rear wiper arm head cap.

  7. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the nut and rear wiper arm and blade assembly.

  8. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

      *a Bolt (A)
      *b Bolt (B)
      Bolt
      Connector

      for Type A:

      1. Disconnect the connector.
      2. Remove the bolt (A).
      3. Loosen the 2 bolts (B) and remove the rear wiper motor assembly.
        NOTE:

        Do not subject the rear wiper motor assembly to strong impacts or force, and do not drop it.

      *a Bolt (A)
      *b Bolt (B)

      Connector

      for Type B:

      1. Disconnect the connector.
      2. Remove the 2 bolts (A).
      3. Loosen the bolt (B) and remove the rear wiper motor assembly.
        NOTE:

        Do not subject the rear wiper motor assembly to strong impacts or force, and do not drop it.

  9. REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR GROMMET 
    1. Remove the rear wiper motor grommet.
