Removal [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  4. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  5. REMOVE FUSE BOX OPENING COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19

  6. REMOVE TRIP SWITCH 
    1. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the trip switch in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
      Protective Tape

      HINT: 

      Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.
