Confirmation Driving Pattern

HINT: 

• After repair has been completed, clear the DTC and then check that the vehicle has returned to normal by performing the following All Readiness check procedure.

  Refer to UTILITY [12/2022 - ]

• When clearing the permanent DTCs, refer to the "CLEAR PERMANENT DTC" procedure.

  Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2022 - ]

1. Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).
2. Turn the ignition switch off and wait for 2 minutes or more.
3. With the vehicle stopped and the shift position in P, turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for at least 70 seconds. [*1]
4. Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY) and without depressing the accelerator pedal, and while depressing the brake pedal, change the shift position to D and wait for 1 minute. (Step A)[*2]
5. Drive the vehicle 0.5 m (1.6 ft.) forward and perform step A. [*3]
6. Drive the vehicle another 0.5 m (1.6 ft.) forward and perform step A. Repeat this procedure 5 times (minimum total driving distance: 2 m (6.6 ft.)). [*4]

   HINT: 

   [*1] to [*4]: Normal judgment procedure.

   The normal judgment procedure is used to complete DTC judgment and also used when clearing permanent DTCs.

7. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / HV Battery / Utility / All Readiness.
8. Check the DTC judgment result.

   HINT: 

   • If the judgment result shows NORMAL, the system is normal.
   • If the judgment result shows ABNORMAL, the system has a malfunction.
   • If the judgment result shows INCOMPLETE, perform the normal judgment procedure again.
