INSTALL PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR SEAL

Apply a light coat of lithium soap base glycol grease to a new parking brake actuator seal.
Install the parking brake actuator seal to the rear disc brake cylinder assembly.
NOTE:
Make sure to replace the parking brake actuator seal with a new one when installing the parking brake actuator assembly.

INSTALL PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY

Using a 5 mm hexagon socket wrench, install the parking brake actuator assembly to the rear disc brake cylinder assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 8.4 N.m (86 kgf/cm, 74 in.lbf)

CONNECT NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE WIRE ASSEMBLY

NOTE:

Remove any dirt or foreign matter on and around the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly connector before performing this work.
Do not allow water, oil or dirt to enter the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly connector.
