Inspection [12/2022 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH
- Check the switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result W3-5 (MSW) - W3-2 (MSE) Pressed (On) Below 1 Ω Ω W3-5 (MSW) - W3-2 (MSE) Not pressed (Off) 10 kΩ or higher kΩ If the result is not as specified, replace the back door control switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check the switch illumination.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the back door control switch illuminates.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal W3-6 (ILL+)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal W3-1 (ILL-)Always Switch illumination illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the back door control switch.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the back door control switch illuminates.
- Check the switch.
