Removal [02/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to read precaution thoroughly before servicing.

    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [02/2024 - ]
  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:
    • Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

  3. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [02/2024 - ]

  4. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat, w/ Tonneau Cover) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  6. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  7. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  8. REMOVE REAR FLOOR BOARD REAR LH (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  9. REMOVE REAR FLOOR BOARD REAR RH (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  10. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  11. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  12. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  13. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  14. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12
  15. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  18. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (LAP BELT ANCHOR) (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

  19. REMOVE NO. 1 TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 49

  20. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 50

  21. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 
    HINT: 
    Remove the rear side of the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH so that the deck trim side panel assembly LH and front quarter trim panel assembly LH can be removed.

  22. REMOVE NO. 2 CUP HOLDER

  23. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER ASSEMBLY LH

  24. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

  25. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

  26. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 57

  27. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

      1. Loosen the bolt and remove the shoulder anchor of the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH.
      2. Disconnect the pretensioner connector.

        HINT: 

        Refer to How to Connect or Disconnect Airbag Connector:

        Refer to HOW TO CONNECT OR DISCONNECT AIRBAG CONNECTOR [02/2024 - ]

      3. Remove the 2 bolts.
      4. Detach the guide and remove the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH.
