Inspection [02/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT BLOWER CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check the blower control switch assembly.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Blower Control Switch Assembly)
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        q6-5 (+B) - q6-2 (E) Pushed (ON) Below 1 Ω
        q6-5 (+B) - q6-2 (E) Not pushed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear console box sub-assembly.

      *a Illumination
      *b Component without harness connected
      (Blower Control Switch Assembly)

      Check the illumination.

      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

        OK

        Tester Connection Specified Condition
        Battery positive (+) → q6-6 (ILL+)
        Battery negative (-) → q6-1 (ILL-)        		 Illumination illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear console box sub-assembly.

      *a Indicator
      *b Component without harness connected
      (Blower Control Switch Assembly)

      Check the indicator.

      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the indicator conditions.

        OK

        Tester Connection Specified Condition
        Battery positive (+) → q6-3 (IND+)
        Battery negative (-) → q6-4 (AZBI)        		 Indicator illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear console box sub-assembly.

  2. INSPECT COOL BOX BLOWER MOTOR WITH FAN SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check the operation of the cool box blower motor with fan sub-assembly.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Cool Box Blower Motor With Fan Sub-assembly)
      1. Apply battery voltage to the rear blower motor with fan sub-assembly terminals.

        OK

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        q5-1 - Battery positive (+)
        q5-2 - Battery negative (-)        		 Always Operates smoothly

        If the result is not as specified, replace the cool box blower motor with fan sub-assembly.

  3. INSPECT COOLER MAGNET VALVE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply battery voltage to the terminals of the connector, and check the cooler magnet valve assembly operates.

      OK

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      q7-1 - Battery positive (+)
      q7-2 - Battery negative (-)      		 Magnet valve is engaged

      If the result is not as specified, replace the cooler magnet valve assembly.
