DTC B1504: Steering Switch Stuck ON [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

1. Check for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   DTC B1504 (current code) is not output.

   Result

1. Disconnect the F10 Disconnect the F10 spiral cable sub-assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the F11 combination meter assembly connector.
3. Check the condition of each connector.

   OK

   Each connector is normal.

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK 

HINT: 

• Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.

• In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.

2. Disconnect the F11 combination meter assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   F10-11 - F11-37(TFT SW POWER (INDIVIDUAL))	Always	Below 10 Ω

   F10-11 or F11-37(TFT SW POWER (INDIVIDUAL)) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
