  1. CHECK LIGHTS 
    1. Inspect the illumination of each turn signal light.

  3. CHECK LH SIDE LIGHTS (REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH) 
    1. Disconnect the O104*1, O43*2 rear combination light assembly LH connector.
    2. Operate the headlight dimmer switch assembly and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights blink, the rear light assembly LH is malfunctioning.

      1. *1: for Sedan
      2. *2: for Hatchback

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the O104*1, O43*2 combination light assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the I5 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance (for Sedan)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O104-3 (B) or I5-22 (TRNL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Standard Resistance (for Hatchback)

    1. Connect the O104*1, O43*2 rear combination light assembly LH connector.
    2. Connect the I5 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Disconnect the L9 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.
    4. Operate the headlight dimmer switch assembly and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights blink, the outer rear view mirror assembly LH is malfunctioning.

  7. CHECK LH SIDE LIGHTS (HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH) 
    1. Connect the L9 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the A131*1, A134*2 headlight assembly LH connector.
    3. Operate the headlight dimmer switch assembly and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the headlight turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights blink, the headlight assembly LH is malfunctioning.

      1. *1: for LED Type Front Turn Signal Light
      2. *2: for Bulb Type Front Turn Signal Light

      Result

    1. Disconnect the I5 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the L9 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

    1. Disconnect the A122 headlight assembly LH connector.
    2. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink, the front turn signal light socket LH is malfunctioning.

    1. Connect the headlight assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the L9 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.
    3. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink, a component of the outer rear view mirror assembly LH is malfunctioning.

  13. CHECK LH SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS (OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH) 
    1. Remove the side turn signal light assembly LH from outer rear view mirror assembly LH.

      Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - ]

    2. Connect the wire harness connector to the outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.
    3. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If all LH side turn signal lights do not blink, the outer rear view mirror assembly LH is malfunctioning.

  14. CHECK LH SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS (REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT CIRCUIT) 
    1. Connect the outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.*1
    2. Connect the headlight assembly LH connector.*2
    3. Disconnect the O104 rear combination light assembly LH connector.
    4. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink, the rear combination light cord LH is malfunctioning.

      1. *1: w/ Side Turn Signal Light
      2. *2: w/o Side Turn Signal Light

  15. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LH SIDE EACH PARTS - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the A83*1 or A122*2 headlight assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the L9 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.*3
    3. Disconnect the I5 combination meter assembly connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A83-2 (B)*1, A122-1 (B)*2, L9-5 (B)*3 or I5-1 (LL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O104-3 (B) or I5-5 (TRNL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    2. Disconnect the A133*1, A132*2 headlight assembly RH connector.
    3. Operate the headlight dimmer switch assembly and check that the RH side turn signal lights other than the headlight turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the RH side turn signal lights blink, the headlight assembly RH is malfunctioning.

      1. *1: for LED Type Front Turn Signal Light
      2. *2: for Bulb Type Front Turn Signal Light

      HINT: 

      If the RH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink, the rear combination light cord RH is malfunctioning.
