Reassembly [02/2024 - ]: Procedure

NOTE: When installing the No. 1 radiator grille seal, heat the No. 1 radiator grille seal and radiator shutter assembly using a heat light.

   No. 1 radiator grille seal Pasting Standards

   Standard Measurement

   Area	Measurement	Area	Measurement
   A	3 mm (0.118 in.) or less	-	-

   1. Clean the surface of the radiator shutter assembly.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the radiator shutter assembly surface.

      2. Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the radiator shutter assembly.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      NOTE:

      • Installing the No. 1 radiator grille seal with some double-sided tape remaining may cause poor adhesion. Perform this procedure until the tape is sufficiently removed.
      • Make sure to use a cloth when removing. Using a screwdriver, etc., may cause damage and poor adhesion.
      • Clean the surface even when using a new part.
   2. Using a heat light, heat the radiator shutter assembly and a new No. 1 radiator grille seal.
   3. Install the No. 1 radiator grille seal in the position shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Apply pressure so that it does not lift up from the radiator shutter assembly.

NOTE: When installing the No. 2 radiator grille seal, heat the No. 2 radiator grille seal and radiator shutter assembly using a heat light.
