- REMOVE BACK DOOR CENTER GARNISH

- REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH
See step 2
- REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH
- Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE BACK DOOR FINISH COVER

See step 6 - REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK COVER

- REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE POWER BACK DOOR UNIT ASSEMBLY LH WARNING:
- Do not perform work if the back door is not securely supported.
- The back door could fall, resulting in injury.
*a Grommet *b Hook - Disconnect the connector.
- Detach the grommet.
- Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, slightly raise the 2 stop rings as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
- Do not remove the stop rings from the power back door unit assembly LH. Raise the stop rings just enough to allow the ball joints to be detached.
- Do not reuse the power back door unit assembly LH if a stop ring has been removed.
- Detach the 2 ball joints to remove the power back door unit assembly LH.NOTE:
Remove the power back door unit assembly LH while supporting the back door by hand.
- Remove the wire harness from the power back door sensor assembly hook.
- REMOVE BACK DOOR NO. 4 SERVICE HOLE COVER (w/ Cover)
