Inspection [02/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT POWER BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH 
    1. Check the resistance.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Power Back Door Control Switch)
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        E77-5 (MSW) - E77-2 (MSE) Pressed (ON) Below 1 Ω
        E77-5 (MSW) - E77-2 (MSE) Not pressed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher
      2. If the result is not as specified, replace the power back door control switch.
    2. Check that the switch illuminates.
      1. Apply battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the power back door control switch illuminates.

        OK

        Tester Connection Battery Connection Specified Condition
        E77-6 (ILL+) - E77-1 (ILL-) Battery positive (+) → Terminal 6 (ILL+)
        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (ILL-)        		 Illumination illuminates
      2. If the result is not as specified, replace the power back door control switch.
