Inspection [02/2024 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL FUEL LID LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
- Check the operation of the fuel lid lock with motor assembly (motor operation).
*a Component without harness connected
(Fuel Lid Lock with Motor Assembly)- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the fuel lid lock with motor assembly connector, and check that the fuel lid lock with motor assembly operates smoothly.

Tester Connection Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → L2-1(B)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → L2-2(E)Shaft is retracted
(Open Operation) - If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid lock with motor assembly.
- Measure the shaft stroke.
OK
Area Specified Condition A 15.45 to 16.65 mm (0.608 to 0.656 in.) - If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid lock with motor assembly.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the fuel lid lock with motor assembly connector, and check that the fuel lid lock with motor assembly operates smoothly.
- Check the resistance of the limit switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L2-3 (B) - L2-2 (E) Fuel Lid Open Below 1 Ω L2-3 (B) - L2-2 (E) Fuel Lid Close 10 kΩ or higher - If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid lock with motor assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check the operation of the fuel lid lock with motor assembly (motor operation).
