  3. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY 
    1. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the ignition switch off.

      Standard voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.

  4. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Check if CAN communication DTCs are output.

      Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [02/2024 - ]

      CAN communication DTCs are output. B

    Result: 

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [02/2024 - ]

  5. CHECK CXPI COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Using the GTS, check for CXPI communication system DTCs.

      Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [02/2024 - ]

      CXPI communication DTCs are not output A
      CXPI communication DTCs are output B

    Result: 

    GO TO CXPI COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [02/2024 - ]

  6. CHECK FOR DTC* 
    1. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes 

    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Clear DTCs 

    3. Recheck for DTCs. Try to reproduce the DTCs by duplicating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes

      DTCs are not output. (Fault can be simulated) A
      DTCs are not output. (Fault cannot be simulated) B

    1. Using the GTS, check for Vehicle Control History (RoB).

    2. Make a note of the output Vehicle Control History (RoB).
