Installation [02/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *a Correct *b Incorrect
      *c Clip *d Claw
      Pull Upward - -
      1. Check that the clip is securely installed to the shift lever knob sub-assembly.
        NOTE:

        If the clip is not installed on the inside of the shift lever knob sub-assembly claw, the shift lever knob sub-assembly may fall off.

      2. Install the shift lever knob sub-assembly to the transmission floor shift assembly.
        NOTE:

        Check that the clip is positioned as shown in the illustration.

      3. Pull the shift lever knob sub-assembly upward by hand and check that it is not coming off.
      4. Engage the claw to connect the shifting hole cover sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
        NOTE:

        Make sure that the shifting hole cover sub-assembly does not twist after installing the shift lever knob sub-assembly.
