Disassembly [02/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    When removing parts with double-sided tape applied, heat the portion of the parts with tape residue with a heat light if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove.

    Standard Value

    Part Temperature
    Metal parts 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    Resin parts 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

    *a Heated Part
    *b Heat Light
    NOTE:

    Do not heat the part excessively.

  2. REMOVE FRONT HOOD MOULDING PAD

      1. Heat the adhesive of the front hood moulding pad using a heat light.
      2. Remove the front hood moulding pad.
  3. REMOVE HOOD MOULDING SPACER

      1. Heat the adhesive of the hood moulding spacer using a heat light.
      2. Remove the hood moulding spacer.
