Fuel Lid Opener System Operation Message Display Malfunction [02/2024 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the A9 ECM connector.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   A9-63 (LSTM) - Body ground	Ignition switch off	11 to 14 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

1. Connect the ECM connector.
2. Operate the fuel lid opener switch.
3. Check the signal waveform according to the condition(s) in the table below.
   NOTE:

   Perform the inspection from the back of the connector with the connector connected.

   1. Waveform 1:

      Item	Condition
      Tester connection	E8-33 (LST1) - Body ground*1 E4-28 (LST1) - Body ground*2
      Tool setting	5 V/DIV., 20 ms./DIV.
      Vehicle condition	"Close Fuel Lid" displayed on multi-information display

      *2: for 12.3 Inch Multi-information Display Type

   2. Waveform 2:

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance
