Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure
- READ CONTROL MODULE SETTING INFORMATION NOTE:HINT: Perform when replacing with a new combination meter assembly.
If incorrect information is written to a new combination meter assembly during "Read Control module setting information", "Write saved setting information data" or "Write applied models and option codes", the new combination meter assembly cannot be used because correct information will not be displayed. Obtain another new combination meter assembly and perform writing again.
- Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Using the GTS, enter the following menu.
Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Utility
Tester Display Read Control module setting information - In accordance with the display of the screen, save the data.
- In accordance with the display of the screen, complete "Read Control module setting information".
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

- Release the tilt and telescopic lever and fully extend and lower the steering column.
- REMOVE CENTER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL
