Removal [11/2022 - 09/2024]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [09/2022 - ]

  2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  3. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL CUSHION 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    1. Loosen the nut and disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

      *A for Type A
      *B for Type B
  5. REMOVE BATTERY 
    1. Disengage the claw to remove the battery terminal connector cover.

    2. Loosen the nut.

    3. Disengage the spring assembly and disconnect the cable from the positive (+) battery terminal.

      Remove in this Direction
    4. Disconnect the battery hose from the battery.

    5. Remove the nut, bolt and battery clamp sub-assembly from the body.

    6. Remove the battery.
