Removal [11/2022 - 09/2024]: Procedure
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20
- REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19
- REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
- Insert a hexagon wrench (4 mm width across flats) into the securing hole of the ribbed belt tensioner assembly.
HINT:
Make sure to fully insert the hexagon wrench (4 mm width across flats).
- Rotate the ribbed belt tensioner assembly counterclockwise to loosen the tension.
- Pull the hexagon wrench (4 mm width across flats) as shown in the illustration to secure.
- Remove the fan and generator V belt from the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly.
- Insert a hexagon wrench (4 mm width across flats) into the securing hole of the ribbed belt tensioner assembly.
