Powertrain > Engine > Active Test

        Tester Display
        Activate the Circuit Relay
      5. Check for pressure in the fuel tube sub-assembly from the fuel line. Check that sounds of fuel flowing from the fuel tank assembly can be heard. If no sounds can be heard, check the relay, fuel pump, ECM and wiring connectors.
    2. Inspect for fuel leaks.
      1. Check that there are no fuel leaks from the fuel system after doing any maintenance or repairs. If there is a fuel leak, repair or replace parts as necessary.
    3. Turn the power switch off.
    4. Disconnect the Techstream from the DLC3.
  2. CHECK FUEL PRESSURE
    1. Discharge fuel system pressure.

      Refer to PRECAUTION [01/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PRECAUTION [04/2020 - 09/2022]

    2. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage.

      Standard Voltage

      11 to 14 V

    3. Open the cover of the No. 1 fuel pipe clamp and remove the No. 1 fuel pipe clamp from the fuel tube connector.

        4. 95336-08070
    6. Wipe up any spilled fuel.
    7. Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

      NOTE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

      Refer to INITIALIZATION [01/2019 - 03/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [03/2019 - 09/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [04/2020 - 09/2022]

    8. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    9. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      NOTE:

      Do not start the engine.

    10. Turn the Techstream on.
    11. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Active Test / Activate the Circuit Relay.

Powertrain > Engine > Active Test

      Tester Display
      Activate the Circuit Relay
    12. Measure the fuel pressure.

      Standard Fuel Pressure

      304 to 343 kPa (3.1 to 3.5 kgf/cm2 , 44 to 50 psi)

      • If the fuel pressure is more than the standard, replace the fuel pressure regulator assembly.
      • If the fuel pressure is less than the standard, check the fuel hoses and their connections, fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator assembly.
    13. Put the engine in Inspection Mode (Maintenance Mode).

Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Utility

      Tester Display
      Inspection Mode
    14. Start the engine.
    15. Measure the fuel pressure at idle.

      Standard Fuel Pressure

      304 to 343 kPa (3.1 to 3.5 kgf/cm2 , 44 to 50 psi)
