Tire Pressure Warning Light Circuit [01/2019 - 09/2022]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM) 
    1. Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output.

      Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [01/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [04/2020 - 09/2022]

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs are not output A
      DTCs are output B

    Result: 

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [01/2019 - 09/2022] 

    Result:

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (B1247) 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Chassis > Tire Pressure Monitor > Clear DTCs 

    2. Turn the power switch off.
    3. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    4. Check for DTCs.

      Chassis > Tire Pressure Monitor > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      B1247 is not output A
      B1247 is output B

    Result: 

    GO TO DTC (B1247). Refer to  DTC B1247: Tire Pressure Monitor Receiver Communication Stop [01/2019 - 09/2022]

  3. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Turn the power switch off.
    2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    3. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    4. Turn the Techstream on.
    5. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.
    6. Check the combination meter assembly.

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Active Test

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Active Test

      OK

      The multi-information display in the combination meter assembly turns on according to the operation of the Active Test.

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER. Refer to  REMOVAL [01/2019 - 09/2022] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [01/2019 - 09/2022]
