System Description [09/2022 - 11/2022]

  1. ILLUMINATED ENTRY SYSTEM 
    1. The illuminated entry system has the following control functions:
      Control Outline Lights that Operate
      Actuation Area-linked*1 When a registered key is brought within any vehicle exterior detection area around the doors, the lights that operate turn on.
      • Map Light Assembly
      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly
      Door Lock/Unlock-linked
      (When entering the vehicle)      		 In the above situation, the lights listed to the right illuminate when any door is unlocked.
      • Map Light Assembly
      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly
      Door Open/Close-linked
      (When entering the vehicle)      		 In the above situation, the lights listed to the right illuminate when any door is opened.
      • Map Light Assembly
      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly
      • Push Start Switch Illumination*1
      Brake-linked In the above situation, the lights listed to the right illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed.
      • Full illumination
        • Map Light Assembly
        • No. 1 Room Light Assembly
      • Blinking
        • Push Start Switch Illumination*1
      Push Start Switch-linked*1 In the above situation, the lights listed to the right illuminate when the ignition switch is turned from off or ACC to ON. Push Start Switch Illumination*1
      Shift Position-linked*2 In the above situation, the lights listed to the right illuminate when the shift state is changed to other than P. Push Start Switch Illumination*1
      IG ON → OFF
      (When exiting the vehicle)      		 In the above situation, the lights listed to the right illuminate when the ignition switch is turned from ON to off or ACC.
      • Map Light Assembly
      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly
      • Push Start Switch Illumination*1
      Door Lock/Unlock-linked
      (When exiting the vehicle)      		 In the above situation, the lights listed to the right dimly illuminate when any door is locked for approximately 7.5 seconds, or until the electrical key transmitter is carried outside of the detection area, and then turn off.
      • Map Light Assembly
      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly
      Delay When approximately 15 seconds elapse after any of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:
      • An actuation area-linked function is used.*1
      • The door unlock-linked function is active.
      • Any door is opened and then all doors are closed when the ignition switch is off.
      • The ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off when all doors are closed.
      • Map Light Assembly
      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly
      When approximately 40 seconds elapse after any of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:
      • Any front door is opened and then front doors are closed when the ignition switch is off.
      • The ignition switch is turned from on (ACC) or on (IG) to off when all doors are closed.
      		 Push Start Switch Illumination*1
      1. *1: w/ Smart Key System
      2. *2: for CVT
  2. BATTERY SAVING CONTROL SYSTEM 
    1. The battery saving function has the following control functions:
      Control Condition Lights that Operate
      Battery Saving When 20 minutes elapse after the ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.
      HINT: 

      Battery saving control is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by battery saving control. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off.

      • Any door is opened and closed.
      • Any door is unlocked.
      • The key enters any exterior actuation area.*
      • Map Light Assembly
      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly
      • No. 1 Luggage Compartment Light Assembly
      When 20 minutes elapse after the ignition switch is turned from on (ACC) or on (IG) to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.
      HINT: 

      Battery saving control is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by battery saving control. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off.

      • Any door is opened and closed.
      • Any door is unlocked.
      • The key enters any exterior actuation area.*
