  1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

  2. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Inspect the luggage compartment door lock assembly.

      Refer to INSPECTION [01/2019 - ]

    REPLACE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [03/2019 - ]

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY - POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the 8H power distribution box assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O108-3 (D+) - 8H-5 Always Below 1 Ω
      O108-3 (D+) or 8H-5 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O108-2 (ACT-) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  4. INSPECT POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the power distribution box assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [09/2022 - 11/2022]

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      8H-5 - MB-19 (LGCY) Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

    REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
