DTC P0705: Transmission Range Sensor Circuit (PRNDL Input) [01/2019 - 11/2022]: Description

The park/neutral position switch assembly detects the shift lever position and send signals to the ECM.

P0705 Transmission Range Sensor Circuit (PRNDL Input) Any of the following conditions are met (2-trip detection logic):
  • 2 or more of the following signals are ON simultaneously for 2 seconds or more*:
    • P, N or NSW input signal
    • R input signal
    • D input signal
    • B input signal
  • P, R, N, D, B and NSW input signals are all OFF simultaneously for 60 seconds or more.
  • Wire harness or connector
  • Park/neutral position switch assembly
  • ECM
Comes on DTC stored
