- INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- "iMT" switch:
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 (MSW1) - 5 (E) Pressed Below 50 Ω Not pressed 10 kΩ or higher *a Component without harness connected
(Combination Switch Assembly)If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- "DRIVE MODE" switch:
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 7 (SEL) - 5 (E) Pushed and held at "DRIVE +" side Below 50 Ω Released (neutral position) 10 kΩ or higher 6 (E) - 5 (E) Pushed and held at "DRIVE -" side Below 50 Ω Released (neutral position) 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check that the illumination illuminates.
- Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the switch, and check the illumination condition of the intelligent manual transmission switch (pattern select switch assembly).

Battery negative (-) → 1 (ILL-)Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly.
