On-Vehicle Inspection [11/2022 - 09/2024]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Engine Under Cover Air Guide) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  3. REMOVE NO. 3 ENGINE UNDER COVER AIR GUIDE (w/ Engine Under Cover Air Guide) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  4. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  5. INSPECT MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL 
    1. Remove the manual transmission filler plug and gasket.

    2. Check that the oil surface is between 0 to 5 mm (0 to 0.197 in.) from the bottom lip of the manual transmission filler plug opening.

      *a 0 to 5 mm (0 to 0.197 in.)
      NOTE:

      An excessively large or small amount of manual transaxle oil may cause problems.

    3. Check for oil leakage when the oil level is low.
    4. Install a new gasket and the manual transmission filler plug.

      Torque: 39.2 N*m (400 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf)

  6. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 75

  7. INSTALL NO. 3 ENGINE UNDER COVER AIR GUIDE (w/ Engine Under Cover Air Guide) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 78

  8. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Engine Under Cover Air Guide) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 83

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 77
