Removal [01/2019 - 11/2022]: Procedure

- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
- Disconnect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector and disengage the wire harness clamp.
*a Wire Harness Clamp *b Clamp *c Guide - Disengage the 2 clamps and 2 guides.
- Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
- Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap with air cleaner hose from the throttle body assembly.
- Disconnect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector and disengage the wire harness clamp.
- REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the throttle body assembly connector.
*1 Water By-pass Hose *2 No. 2 Water By-pass Hose - Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the water by-pass hose and No. 2 water by-pass hose from the throttle body assembly.
- w/ Stud Bolt:
*A w/ Stud Bolt *B w/o Stud Bolt - Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and throttle body assembly from the intake manifold.NOTE:
If the throttle body assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and throttle body assembly from the intake manifold.
- w/o Stud Bolt:
- Remove the 4 bolts and throttle body assembly from the intake manifold.NOTE:
If the throttle body assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Remove the 4 bolts and throttle body assembly from the intake manifold.
- Disconnect the throttle body assembly connector.
- REMOVE THROTTLE BODY GASKET
