- Check the charging system.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GENERATOR ASSEMBLY - ECM)
- Disconnect the C81 generator assembly connector.
- Disconnect the C77 ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition C81-2 (LIN) - C77-61 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω C81-2 (LIN) or C77-61 (LIN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Result
