Removal [09/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2024 - ]

  2. SEPARATE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 3 clips to separate the front fender splash shield sub-assembly LH.

  3. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER AIR DUCT 
    1. Remove the 3 clips and transmission oil cooler air duct from the oil cooler assembly.

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 1 TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 1 transmission oil cooler hose assembly from the oil cooler assembly.

      HINT: 

      Use a container to catch any automatic transaxle fluid which flows out.

  5. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and oil cooler assembly from the oil cooler bracket.

      HINT: 

      Use a container to catch any automatic transaxle fluid which flows out.

  6. REMOVE OUTLET TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER AIR DUCT 
    1. Remove the 3 clips and outlet transmission oil cooler air duct from the oil cooler assembly.

  7. REMOVE OIL COOLER BRACKET 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the oil cooler bracket is necessary.

    1. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and oil cooler bracket from the vehicle body.

  8. REMOVE OIL COOLER BRACKET 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the oil cooler bracket is necessary.

    1. Disconnect the clamp from the oil cooler bracket.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and oil cooler bracket from the vehicle body.
