DTC P025A-12: Fuel Pump Module "A" Control Circuit High Circuit Short to Battery [09/2024 - ]: Procedure

- INSPECT ECM (CHECK FOR SHORT)
- Disconnect the fuel pump control ECU connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition O172-2 (FPC) - Body ground Ignition switch ON Below 1 V Result
Proceed to OK NG
Result:
OK
REPLACE FUEL PUMP CONTROL ECU
Refer to REMOVAL [11/2022 - ]
Result:
NG

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FUEL PUMP CONTROL ECU - ECM)
- Disconnect the fuel pump control ECU connector.
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition O172-2 (FPC) or A139-6 (FPC) - Other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher Result
Proceed to OK NG

REPLACE ECM
