DTC P2713-14: Pressure Control Solenoid "D" Circuit Short to Ground or Open [11/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE (SOLENOID (SLT) VALVE) - ECM) 
    1. Disconnect the ECM connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      C41-10 (SLT+) - C41-9 (SLT-) 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω
      C41-10 (SLT+) or C41-9 (SLT-) - Body ground and other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG

  2. REPLACE ECM 
    1. Replace the ECM.

      Refer to REMOVAL [11/2018 - 08/2020] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

      Result

      Proceed to

    Result:

    PERFORM REGISTRATION 

    Refer to REGISTRATION [11/2018 - ]

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE - ECM) 
    1. Disconnect the transmission wire connector.
    2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      C30-24 (SLT+) - C41-10 (SLT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      C30-23 (SLT-) - C41-9 (SLT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      C30-24 (SLT+) or C41-10 (SLT+) - Body ground and other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher
      C30-23 (SLT-) or C41-9 (SLT-) - Body ground and other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result:

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION WIRE - ECM)

  4. INSPECT SOLENOID (SLT) VALVE 
    1. Remove the solenoid (SLT) valve.

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [11/2018 - ]

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Solenoid (SLT) valve connector terminal 1 - terminal 2 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω
    3. Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery with a 21 W bulb to terminal 1 and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 of the solenoid valve connector. Check that the valve moves and makes an operating sound.

      OK

      Valve moves and makes an operating sound.

    REPAIR OR REPLACE TRANSMISSION WIRE

    REPLACE SOLENOID (SLT) VALVE
