Voice Guidance Circuit between Radio Receiver and Stereo Component Amplifier [11/2018 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the G4 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the M3 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G4-3 (RL+) - M3-15 (II1+) Always Below 1 Ω
      G4-8 (RL-) - M3-14 (II1-) Always Below 1 Ω
      M3-18 (SLD1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G4-3 (RL+) or M3-15 (II1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G4-8 (RL-) or M3-14 (II1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [11/2018 - 02/2019]  , or refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [02/2019 - 10/2019]  , or refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [10/2019 - 10/2022]
