  2. CHECK SPEAKER (OPERATION CHECK) 
    1. Enter the "System Check Mode" screen. Refer to Check Speaker in Operation Check.

    2. Perform the operation check above and determine the speaker that is not operating.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY - DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)) 
    1. Disconnect the G4 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the I1 and J1 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.
    3. Disconnect the G5 and G6 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.
    4. Disconnect the G133 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
    5. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

    1. Remove the DCM (telematics transceiver).

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    3. Disconnect the G5 and G6 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

  9. CHECK FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Replace the front No. 2 speaker assembly with a new or known good one.

      Refer to REMOVAL [11/2018 - ]

    2. Check the malfunction disappears.

      Malfunction disappears.

      HINT: 

      • Connect all the connectors to the front No. 2 speaker assemblies that were disconnected.
      • When there is a possibility that either the right or left front speaker is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.
      • Perform the above inspection on both the LH and RH sides.

    2. Disconnect the K1 and L1 rear speaker assembly connectors.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the M2 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the J1 and I1 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.
    3. Disconnect the G6 and G5 front No. 3 speaker assembly connectors.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
