Mute Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver and Telematics Transceiver [10/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

1. Remove the DCM (telematics transceiver) with the connector(s) still connected.

   *a	Component with harness connected (DCM [Telematics Transceiver])

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2019 - 10/2022]

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G131-14 (MUTE) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON Audio system playing → Emergency call mode	2.0 V or higher → Below 1 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [10/2019 - 10/2022] 

Result: 

NG

1. Disconnect the G2 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the G131 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G2-3 (TMUT) - G131-14 (MUTE)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G2-3 (TMUT) or G131-14 (MUTE) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

REPLACE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2019 - 10/2022]
