Red Indicator Remains On [10/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 10 seconds or more.
4. Turn the Techstream on.
5. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2019 - 10/2022]

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs 

6. Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2019 - 10/2022]

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

NG 

GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [10/2019 - 01/2020]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [01/2020 - 10/2022]

1. Check for vehicle control history and note any codes that are output.

1. Replace the DCM (telephone transceiver assembly) with a new one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2019 - 10/2022]

   NOTE:

   • The ignition switch must be off.
   • Do not exchange the DCM (telephone transceiver assembly) with one from another vehicle.
