DTC B15CC: Backup Battery Failure [11/2018 - 10/2019]: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 10 seconds.
4. Turn the Techstream on.
5. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - 10/2019]

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs 

6. Recheck for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - 10/2019]

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes

CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2018 - ]

1. Replace the BUB (Back-Up Battery) with a known good one and check if the same problem occurs again.

   Refer to REMOVAL [11/2018 - 10/2019]

   NOTE:

   The BUB (Back-Up Battery) must not be replaced while an ACN call is in progress.

   Refer to ACN CALL END [11/2018 - 10/2019]

1. Clear the DTCs.

   • The ignition switch must be off.
   • Do not exchange the DCM (Telephone Transceiver Assembly) with one from another vehicle.
