- SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH

- SEPARATE TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

- Install SST to the tie rod end sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

NOTE:Make sure that the lower ends of the tie rod end sub-assembly LH and SST are aligned.
- SST: 09960-20010
- Using SST, separate the tie rod end sub-assembly LH from the steering knuckle LH as shown in the illustration.

WARNING:Apply molybdenum grease to the threads and end of the SST bolt.
NOTE:- Be sure to tighten the string firmly to secure SST to the steering knuckle LH to prevent SST from falling off.
- Install SST with the center nut so that (A) and (B) shown in the illustration are parallel. Otherwise, the ball joint dust cover may be damaged.
- Be sure to place the wrench on the part shown in the illustration.
- Do not damage the front disc brake dust cover.
- Do not damage the ball joint dust cover.
- Do not damage the steering knuckle LH.
- SST: 09960-20010
- SEPARATE TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
- Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
- SEPARATE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

- SEPARATE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
- Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE NO. 2 CROSSMEMBER GUSSET LH
- REMOVE NO. 2 CROSSMEMBER GUSSET RH
- Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER
- DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET
- DISCONNECT ENGINE MOVING CONTROL ROD
- REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY
*a Engine Lifter *b Attachment Attachment placement location - - - Support the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly with an engine lifter using 4 attachments or equivalent tools as shown in the illustration.WARNING:NOTE:
Use attachments to keep the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly level.
- Remove the 8 bolts, center radiator support LH, center radiator support RH and front suspension crossmember sub-assembly from the vehicle.
- Slowly lower the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly.NOTE:
- When lowering the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly, be careful not to damage the vehicle body or other components installed to the vehicle.
- Make sure that the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly not hit the protrusion of the reinforcement.
- Support the front suspension crossmember sub-assembly with an engine lifter using 4 attachments or equivalent tools as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE ENGINE MOVING CONTROL ROD
- REMOVE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH NOTE:
Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Loosen the bolt with the nut secured.
- REMOVE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
- Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY
