- INSPECT FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(Fuel Lid Opener Switch)Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result K50-5 (IG) - K50-2 (E) Pushed (ON) Below 1 Ω Ω K50-5 (IG) - K50-2 (E) Not pushed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher kΩ If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener switch.
- Check that the switch illuminates.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the fuel lid opener switch and check that the switch illuminates.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → K50-6 (ILL+)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → K50-1 (ILL-)Always Switch illumination illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener switch.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the fuel lid opener switch and check that the switch illuminates.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
