Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
    NOTE:

Power windows have an index function that slightly opens/closes window glass when a door is opened/closed. The molding may be damaged when the doors are opened or closed after disconnecting the ground terminal from the battery state sensor assembly when the glass is completely closed. Therefore, always disconnect the ground terminal from the battery state sensor assembly with the driver's or passenger's seat door open (with the glass lowered to a position that allows free door opening and closing).

HINT: Open the trunk as necessary before disconnecting the ground terminal from the battery state sensor assembly.
