Fuel Level Warning Light Illuminates Despite of Sufficient Fuel [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
2. Read the DTC of [Combination Meter] using the GTS.

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes 

   Is DTC B1500 displayed? (Current code)

   Result	Proceed to
   YES (Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs.)	A
   NO	B

Result: 

A 

PERFORM THE DIAGNOSIS FOR THE DISPLAYED DTCS. 

Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [11/2021 - 10/2024] , or refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [10/2024 - ]

B

1. Start the engine.
2. Using the GTS, read all DTCs.

   Is DTC U**** displayed? (Current code)

   Result	Proceed to
   YES (Perform the diagnosis according to the basic diagnostic procedure in CAN SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS).)	A
   NO	B

Result: 

A 

PERFORM THE DIAGNOSIS ACCORDING TO THE BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE IN CAN SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS).

1. Using the GTS, check the following items in the [Active Test] of [Combination Meter].

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Active Test

   Remaining fuel

   Do the indicated amount on GTS and the fuel level warning light indication match?

   YES (Check the fuel sender gauge assembly as a single part.)	A
   NO (Replace the combination meter assembly.)	B

CHECK THE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY AS A SINGLE PART
